Colline is a beautiful green fig with some purplish ridging, found in a drainage ditch along the side of an upward winding country road.  It sprouts out from large boulders in the ditch, which likely aid in water retention for the tree.

The fig has a nice firm skin, but is not chewy, and does not detract from the overall flavor of the fig.  The interior bears a light strawberry flavor, that is "syrupy" is texture but not overly sugary sweet.
