TFH 28, Royal, is a unique fig tree that grows in a dry lot and is completely surrounded by thistle. This tree may be challenging to reach, but the tasty fruit it produces is well worth the effort. The figs are on the larger size. The thick skin is not chewy, and the interior boasts a refreshing, mild flavor with hints of honey and berry. All cuttings are 6 inches or longer, with 3 or more nodes. All cuttings will be freshly sealed at time of shipping. This was one of our first finds, but was never release other than recently in experimental rooted stock. For the sake of transparency, we cannot yet confirm if it is common. Cuttings have been sent out of the area for growing and confirmation.
