Wildcat is one of our new releases. It shows to be tolerant of weather extremes; growing in a higher elevation that regularly receives light snowfall in the winter, and 90+ degrees in summer.
Wildcat grows in a drainage ditch for mountain water runoff. It was found by chance, while traveling home after working clearing boulders for salmon spawning grounds. It survived in the ash of the Dixie fire.
The fig is an interesting pale yellow teardrop, with a golden colored interior. The flesh of the fruit is a mild honey-melon, that is lightly sweet with little seed crunch.

All cuttings are 6 inches or longer, with 3 or more nodes. All cuttings will be freshly sealed at time of shipping. This was a late 2021 find, and for the sake of transparency, we cannot yet confirm if it is common. Cuttings have been sent out of the area for growing and confirmation.
