This seedling was found on an island surrounded by a rice paddy field. The tree itself was growing at the edge of an old pole barn, up through some abandoned farm equipment.
E Barn is a thin skinned, very jammy fig. It has berry notes that cross between strawberry and raspberry. Minimal seed crunch, but some is noted. Just a beautiful fruit visually as well as flavorwise.
All cuttings are 6 inches or longer, with 3 or more nodes. All cuttings will be freshly sealed at time of shipping. This was a 2019 find, and for the sake of transparency, we cannot yet confirm if it is common. Cuttings have been sent out of the area for growing and confirmation.
