Winter's Gift seems to be quite a cold hardy fig. This tree was still producting edible fruit through Christmas! This would be a great fig if your looking for some late fruiting varieties.
This one was a unique shape, in that it bears a striking resemblance to a chestnut. Winter's Gift has a firm skin, with light seed crunch. The interior flavor is reminiscent of cantaloupe, with a light sweetness.
All cuttings are 6 inches or longer, with 3 or more nodes. All cuttings will be freshly sealed at time of shipping. This was a 2019 find, and for the sake of transparency, we cannot yet confirm if it is common. Cuttings have been sent out of the area for growing and confirmation.
