Zoe's Star is named in memorial fig.  This fig has a both a unique look, and delicious flavor.  Zoe's Star is a pure brown sugar fig.  It is super juicy, like biting in to lava cake, but with brown sugar inside.  On a fig hunting excursion with friends, we had a tasting of four different varieties found the same weekend and this one was a group favorite.
