Igo Onyx is a beautiful, deep black fig.  The mother tree was found down a steep hillside, just outside the town of Igo, CA.  The interior is a deep red, with a distict marionberry flavor.  Igo Onyx has a very jammy texture and a light seed crunch, and a velvet skin that is so black it’s almost blue.  This is just a lot of flavor in a beautiful package.
