Tentatively common from Ohio!

Cottonwood Candy is a unique fig simply due to where and how it grows. The canopy of the mother tree twists and winds in the most whimsical way, through a large creekbed. If a Dr. Seuss tree were seen in real life, this would be it.

The fruit of Cottonwood Candy is reminiscent of cherry filling, but with the tartness of blackberries. Its a perfect two-bite fig, with a firm but not tough skin.
