This beautiful fig is a fall 2019 find from the Napa Valley.  The Napa Valley, known worldwide for its wines, is also the host to a wide variety of agriculture.  It is ideal for growing a multitude of plant life, due to its diverse soils, climate, and topography.  Wines aside, the Napa Valley is host to regional gourmet food and Michelin star restaurants.

 

The Fig of Many Colors is aptly named for its distinct color variations.  From a taste review, this fig has light seed crunch, skin that melts, and plumb undertones.  The interior of the fruit is described as juicy and sweet.  Due to its limited availability, this variety is sold only as a single cutting.
